I’m Eddie C. I used to live in Puerto Rico. Hurricane Maria in 2017 wiped it out. Had to leave. Came to Austin, Texas to start over.
Then the pandemic shut the world down. Lost everything again. Lost PR. Lost Austin. Started rideshare — Uber, Lyft — then other gig apps just to keep the week alive.
I had a 9-to-5 before. After the pandemic and inflation, that kind of job wouldn’t cover the bills. I’m trying to get out of rideshare back into a 9-to-5, but I can’t land one. AI is replacing jobs, including rideshare — robots, autonomous, the whole seat thing. So yeah: long days. Like 15-hour days. Seven days a week. Hustle on hustle.
This site is the notebook. Driving in Style LLC is the company. Hustle On Hustle is the name on the door. News first — gig news, AI news, autonomy — because I’m trying to see where the tech is going, not write a career blog. Then the US gig apps with real apply links. Affiliates and side income here are so I can stay afloat until something good lands. Day trading is another path I’m working — charts at night, another shot at the way out.
